One of the exhibitors you can meet at Bite Copenhagen is ‘Glean’, a startup devoted to reducing food waste by turning byproducts into tasty treats. Anja Bindesbøll from Glean says:

“We need to rethink our food, close the loop and make better use of the resources, and we are excited to meet like-minded exhibitors, visitors, and industry professionals and support the innovative food scene.”

The well-known producer of clean, organic meat products, ‘Hanegal’, is another exhibitor attending the exhibition. Export Manager Michael Vadgaard Jørgensen also sees great potential in Bite:

“We are very conscious of producing innovative and sustainable products to meet current as well as future needs, and visitors will get a chance to experience some of our newest solutions. We are looking forward to being a part of Bite and explore the exhibition’s international perspective.”

Meet the visitors

Gathering so many innovative brands and solutions under one roof, naturally sparks an interest from resourceful visitors. For one of them, CEO Allan L. "BC Hospitality Group is committed to deliver sustainable solutions to our customers and guests - we call it “Responsible Hospitality” where we take a holistic approach, looking at all angles of sustainability in everything we do. We use UN SDG's as our guiding principles and take pride in finding innovative sustainable solutions and at the same time trying to raise the bar for what can be achieved whilst we never compromise guest experience, quality or service. We welcome more than a million guests every year and we enjoy being able to treat them to a high quality hospitality experience predominantly using locally produced and sustainable food products.”

Allan L. Agerholm sees Bite Copenhagen as the perfect opportunity to meet producers and find out what products customers will be asking for in the future:

“With an exhibition such as Bite Copenhagen, we are able to be host for some of the most innovative and progressive food firms and at the same time showcase our own innovative food and beverage solutions.
