The Danish Food Bank


The Danish Food Bank handles around 3 tons of surplus food every day, which greatly benefits socially vulnerable people. Many countries has Food Banks, but the unique  thing about the Danish Food Bank is the use of surplus food and the cloose coorperation between the food industry, the state and the civil society involving a great number of volunteers.
