Making Local Food a Healthy Business

MAKING LOCAL FOOD A HEALTHY BUSINESS
- Seminar and workshop

- A real life business model based on trusting relationships and community building

Neal's Yard Dairy is exemplary in their work with local food. Through persistent work and on market terms, NYD has succeeded in raising the interest for and the quality of hand-made cheese in the UK. From their three London shops, NYD sells 500 tons of cheese a year (half of which is raw milk cheese). Behind the thriving business lies a very special and genuine business model based on trusting relationships and community building. Jennifer Kast from NYD will talk about the business and subsequently work with the participants and guide them in applying some of the principles of building strong relationships and community building to their own businesses.
